Adipex.
Adipex (phentermine) is a prescription medicine that has been specially developed for people trying to lose weight but not getting any consistent results. Adipex should be taken by patients older than 16 and a doctor needs to be consulted first for the patient to get the kind of treatment necessary without any need to worry about serious side effects. Side effects of Adipex are usually mild and tend to go away on their own. They may include some or any of the following ones: diarrhea, dry mouth, unpleasant taste, constipation, and vomiting. More serious side effects are also possible, and they can be: tremor, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, insomnia, restlessness, dizziness, increased blood pressure, or chest pain. Make sure you talk to your health care provider before starting the treatment. You will need to discuss any possible contraindications - such as pregnancy and breastfeeding, or the fact of taking any MAO inhibitors that can interact in a very dangerous way with this drug. You will also need to talk to your doctor about any medical conditions that you have, such as a history of drug or alcohol abuse, glaucoma, high blood pressure, problems with your thyroid, heart disease, arteriosclerosis, seizure disorder, diabetes, or anxiety disorder, as a dose adjustment may be necessary.
